The fireplace surround in the formal living room of this North Atlanta estate is a sculptural centerpiece. Carved from solid limestone, it features full Corinthian column pilasters, a deeply profiled mantel shelf, and relief detail that references the classical European tradition. The surround was designed to anchor the room and establish the architectural character that flows through the rest of the home.
